Easter

A time to reflect on the the incredible grace of our Lord Jesus Christ to be the representative of broken humanity, to suffer in our place all the ridicule and torture of the world that scorned a perfect life and perfect love. Humbling grace that we would be given such a gift as life by such a sacrifice of pain. “O sacred head sore wounded with grief and pain weighed down. When was there such a mercy that gave to us a crown? How does your visage languish with guilt and shame we’d bear, if not for that one Cross and the gentle protection that was won there. Why do we think so little of all that You have done to make us who were at war, through sin, to be peace with you, in your very Son! Father forgive us for all our self trained thoughts that spy to make ourselves look grand, and forget upon whose life blood we alone have hope to stand” Please this Easter, give some time to just think how truly amazing is the love of Christ for sinners such as us. What grace and mercy has come to us through the Lord Jesus Christ, His death, and His Cross. lgs
